Shiv Gupta is the founder and CEO of Sanctum Wealth.
Shiv was part of the RBS Group for 15 years where he most recently oversaw RBS’ Private Banking business in India, prior to its acquisition by Sanctum. He also served as a member of the RBS India Executive Committee.
Shiv had a stint as the Co-head of Coutts’ Middle East business, operating from Dubai, and was one of the founding members of the Coutts International South Asian business, based in Singapore. Prior to RBS, he worked with the Private Banking divisions of BNP Paribas and Citibank, in Singapore and Switzerland.
Shiv holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics (Hons) from Hindu College, Delhi University. He is also a graduate of the Harvard Business School’s General Management Program (GMP).
Sudhir Variyar is the Managing Director at Multiples Alternate Asset Management, which he helped grow from its inception.
At Multiples, he is responsible for firm-wide activities, including organisational design, fund raising, and talent development.
He has held various leadership positions at esteemed organisations and institutions like ICICI Venture, Fitch Ratings, ICICI Limited, and Enron India.
Sudhir holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Varanasi (BHU) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
Through the length of his career, he has always been and still remains fascinated by investments and swears by his passion for it. He is currently learning Sanskrit as a personal project.
Shagun Kapur Gogia is the Founder and Managing Director of Tuscan Ventures Pvt. Ltd. headquartered in Mumbai. The firm was built with a focus on providing growth capital & operational expertise to building businesses around disruptive technologies, supply chain services, food & agriculture industries.
Shagun is also a part of the YES Bank promoter family, a commercial bank that has steadily built Corporate and Institutional Banking, Financial Markets, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Branch Banking, Business and Transaction Banking business lines across the country.
Prior to founding Tuscan Ventures, Shagun was the Vice President at ICICI Ventures, India’s largest private equity fund, where she gained several years of experience in private equity placements in India.
Shagun is a Cum Laude Double Major in Economics & Biology from Tufts University. She also holds an MBA from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.
Nitin Nath is a financial services entrepreneur in emerging Asian markets. His Fintech ventures create bespoke client engagement for securities firms, peer-to-peer networks and small businesses. Additionally, they assist financial services firms in South East Asia to attract revenues from underactive clients.
He has spent over 12 years in senior roles with global investment banks including responsibilities for listed products, institutional sales, structured products and private banking coverage. In India, he has also set up a captive for a large European bank, whose goal was to mine revenues from smaller, under-served clients in the capital markets arena – using technology and process engineering.
In 2010, he co-founded Mount Nathan Advisors, a Singapore-based principal Investment firm that focuses on Asian Special Situations and emerging regional financial enterprises.
Nitin holds a Bachelor’s degree from St Stephen’s College, Delhi University and an MBA from IIM Calcutta.

Rajesh is a seasoned risk leader with nearly 30 years of experience across banking in India and Asia, advising CEOs and leading transformation initiatives. He is the founder of Riskalytix and serves as an independent director on multiple boards, including Citicorp Finance, where he also chairs the risk and audit committees. Previously, he held senior risk leadership roles at NatWest Group India and The Royal Bank of Scotland, following over 15 years at Citibank.
Rory Tapner is the Chairman of a number of leading institutions in the UK, including Intelligent Engineering, the British Ski & Snowboard Federation, and the Advisory Board of King’s Business School. He is a Fellow of King’s College, London and Deputy Chairman of their fund raising Board.
Rory served as Chief Executive of the Coutts Group, the Wealth division of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group, from October 2010 until 2015, prior to which he was Chairman and CEO of UBS across Asia Pacific and a member of UBS’s Group Executive Board.
Rory joined Rowe & Pitman in 1983, in the corporate finance department. In 1986, Rowe & Pitman merged into SG Warburg creating a truly integrated and international financial services platform. From 1993, he led the UK Corporate Finance department of the enlarged entity. In 1995, SG Warburg merged with Swiss Bank Corporation, at which point Rory was appointed Global Head of the Equity Capital Markets division. In 1999, following a further merger, this time between UBS and SBC, Rory became the Global Head of Investment Banking, a role which he served until 2004 when he then moved to Asia Pacific.
Rory was educated at Radley College and has a Law degree (LL.B) from King’s College, London.
Jayesh Parekh is a board member of One Animation (an animation & special effects studio), Flickbay (a Bollywood App), and Milaap (a crowd-sourced lending platform).
Jayesh is an active impact investor. He spent over 12 years at IBM in various technical and sales positions in Houston and Singapore, and was part of the team that brought IBM back to India.
Jayesh holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, India and a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas, Austin.
